  • How do I get started?

  • What are the cost of therapy and coaching sessions? Do you accept insurance?

    Session fees are $200 for 50 minutes Please contact me if a reduced fee is needed, as I have a limited amount of sliding scale slots.

    I am not currently in network with any insurance at the moment, however, if you are not in network a superbill (receipt) can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for any out of network benefits you may have.

  • Is therapy/coaching offered online or in person?

    Currently, therapy and coaching sessions are offered virtually.

  • What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

    I provide therapy for clients within the state of California and chronic pain coaching for out of state/country clients.

    Therapy will address and heal psychological, physiological and emotional challenges. Therapy can be for (but is not limited to) those dealing with mental health conditions, seeking to resolve deep-rooted issues, needing professional support to navigate significant life changes.

    Coaching can assist clients to identify their goals, create actionable plans, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles. Coaching can help enhance performance, personal development and foster growth within an individual.

  • What is chronic pain? What is Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)?

    Chronic pain is pain that can persist beyond the normal healing period or it may occur in the absence of physical injury or illness. Unlike acute pain, which typically serves as a warning signal and resolves as the underlying cause heals, chronic pain continues for months or even years and can significantly impact a person’s daily life and well-being.

    Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a treatment that works towards retraining your brain to help shift your perspective and change your response to chronic pain. Somatic tracking is a tool that is utilized to help better understand your symptoms and change your response to your pain, ultimately decreasing your symptoms.

  • What is Dialectial Behavior Therapy? How do I know if this is the right treatment for me?

    DBT helps individuals manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, manage, stressful events that may occur in life and develop coping skills that are catered to the needs to a client. DBT entails mindfulness based practices and acceptance strategies to support and enhance overall well-being.
